The Town of Eston offers curbside waste pickup according to the following schedule:
Tuesday – Zone 1
7th, 8th, 9th Avenues
4th, 5th Streets SW
Larson Crescent, Kay Lane, Guthrie Place, Main Street
Wednesday – Zone 2
Railway Avenue, Gatenby
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Avenues SE
1st, 2nd and 3rd Streets NW
Thursday – Zone 3
2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Avenues SW
3rd Street SW from Railway to 6th Avenue
Monday and Friday
Business pickup
When pickup falls on a Town closure date, pickup will occur on the following work day. A special pickup schedule will be issued for the holiday season.
Materials must be at the curb by 8:00am on pickup day either in containers or bags. The maximum weight for a container is 40 pounds.
Prohibited Items
The following items will not be picked up:
- Automobile tires, batteries or used oil
- Building materials
- Furniture and appliances
- Flammable or hazardous substances
- Pressurized containers
- Needles or sharps for medical use
