Booth Convener at the AGT Community Centre

AGT Community Centre is a vibrant community space that brings people together for ice-related activities and events. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Booth
Convener to enhance the overall experience for our visitors. This is seasonal position, October to March.
Responsibilities:
• Booth Management: Operate, schedule workers (groups) and manage the booth efficiently during rink operating hours.
• Customer Service: Provide friendly and helpful customer service to patrons visiting the booth as well as the groups scheduled to work.
• Sales: Sell a variety of items, including snacks, beverages, and merchandise.
• Cash Handling: Handle cash(all) transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish inventory as needed.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized booth area.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work during rink operating hours, including evenings and weekends.
