With roots dating back to the 1980s, Eston Sheet Metal is a family run business which now serves the Eston, Eatonia and Kindersley area (and beyond!). Bill was the first Etter to connect to the shop; starting as an employee more than 30 years ago. Little did he know that a job at a Sheet Metal shop would turn into a multi-generational family business! Currently owned by Bill, Gwen and Mitch Etter, Eston Sheet Metal was opened March 18, 1981 and has experienced some exceptional growth since then. A commitment to quality, local service has kept their customers coming back for decades. With recent addition KEE Sheet Metal, the Etters now proudly manage 22 employees.
For those who don’t know, Sheet Metal provides plumbing and heating services to our community. This runs the gamut from furnace repair, to air conditioning, duct and drain cleaning and even underground sprinklers. With many supplies and equipment kept on hand in Eston, the need to wait for a repair coming from the city is gone. Most recently Lennox has recognized Eston Sheet Metal for being a dealer for 50 years – wow! But simply having product on hand is not what makes a business successful for 35 years; customers of Eston Sheet Metal know that it is the level of service and knowledgeable staff who keep them coming back year after year.
Bill, Gwen and Mitch are committed to their community, and can regularly be seen donating to events and causes in both a financial way and with their time. The pride they have for Eston is evident in everything that they do – it’s more than just a job, it really is home.
