Role of the Mayor
The Mayor acts as the head of Council and a key representative of the Town. In addition to having the same voting power as other Councillors, the Mayor provides leadership at meetings, represents the Town at events and official functions, and serves as a spokesperson on matters of local importance.

Role of Town Council
Town Council is the governing body elected to represent the residents of Eston. Council is responsible for setting the overall direction, policies, and priorities of the community through bylaws, budgets, and strategic planning. Council decisions aim to reflect the best interests of the community as a whole.

Role of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)
The CAO is the senior staff member responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Town. Appointed by Council, the CAO implements Council decisions, oversees municipal services and staff, manages the budget, and ensures that policies and regulations are followed. The CAO provides professional advice to Council to support effective decision-making.
