Position: Facility Cleaner
Location: AGT Community Centre
Employment Type: Part-Time, approximately 10-14 hours per week (Monday & Friday) with the possibility of
additional hours or days as required

Town of Eston and the RM of Snipe Lake No.259 is dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our community. We host a variety of recreational, Economic Development Community events and
programs that bring people together. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Facility Cleaner.


Key Responsibilities:

Facility Cleaning:

  • Perform routine cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Ensure restrooms, common areas, and event spaces are kept clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Clean and sanitize dressing rooms, washrooms, showers, lobby, hallways, viewing areas and other public spaces.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, floor scrubber machine, and spot-clean floors; clean glass, doors, walls, benches, and high-touch surfaces.
  • Empty garbage and recycling and replace liners.
  • Restock washroom and cleaning supplies, including toilet paper, paper towel, soap and garbage bags.
  • Clean spectator areas and remove garbage and debris from stands and seating areas.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and advise the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered


Event Clean Up:
Assist with cleaning before and after tournaments which may include

  • Cleaning up tables         
  • Garbage pick up and general clean up        
  • Pick up         
  • Maintaining bulletin boards         
  • Perform additional cleaning or facility-related duties as required


Qualifications:

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to assist wherever needed.
  • Reliable, dependable, can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience in cleaning
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to lift and move objects
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
